Ingredients
  • 500 g chicken breast from Seara, Cubes
  • 1/3cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala
  • ½ teaspoon cumin
  • ½ tablespoon coriander
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon turmeric
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated The sauce:
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 1½ tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup cooking cream
  • Fresh Coriander for garnishing
  • Cooked basmati rice for serving
How to Cook
The classic and tasty butter chicken recipe with rich creamy sauce and fantastic blend of spices is a must-try dish for an easy family dinner recipes. Instructions:
  1. Marinate the chicken: combine all the marinade ingredients in a big bowl and stir well to combine.
  2. Toss the chicken cubes in it and mix to coat well then cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  3. Heat the butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and fry the marinated chicken for 8-10 minutes until cooked through.
  4. Add the tomato sauce, ginger, garlic and Garam masala. Stir and cook until fragrant.
  5. Leave to simmer on low heat for 20 minutes until the sauce is reduced by quarter.
  6. Add the cooking cream and stir well. Leave to simmer for 5 more minutes.
  7. Place the butter chicken on a big serving bowl. Garnish with fresh coriander and serve with cooked basmati rice.
