  • 2 tender chicken breast from Seara, cubed
  • 2-3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 big onion, chopped
  • 5 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ tablespoon paprika
  • ½ tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups basmati rice, washed and drained
  • 4 cups hot water
  • 1 cup peas and carrots from Seara
  • Fresh chopped parsley for garnishing
How to Cook
This tender rice is packed with delicious vegetables and juicy chicken. Perfect for the whole family that everyone will love. Instructions:
  1. In a big pot melt the butter over medium high heat and sauté the onion and garlic in it to fragrant. Add the cubed chicken and keep sautéing to evaporate all the liquids.
  2. Add the spices and salt then add the washed rice and fry for 2 more minutes. Add the hot water and stir to combine.
  3. Cover the pot and lower the heat to keep simmering for 20 minutes to absorb all the water. Before finish cooking with 5 minutes add the carrots and peas and fluff with fork to combine.
  4. When the rice is done cooking scoop it into a serving plate and garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
